Frequently Asked Questions
Is my Sentry API key secure?
Yes. We encrypt your API key using AES-256 encryption before storing it. Sentry API requests are proxied only when your AI assistant needs them.
How do I get my Sentry API key?
Visit sentry.io/settings/account/api/auth-tokens/, create a new Auth Token with appropriate scopes, and copy it. Paste it in MCP Hubby's connection form.
Can I disconnect anytime?
Yes. One click in your hub disconnects Sentry and deletes your encrypted API key from our database. You can also revoke the token directly in your Sentry account settings.
What AI tools does this work with?
Any MCP-compatible client: Claude Desktop, Cursor, Continue, and more. One connection works with all.
What can my AI assistant do with Sentry?
Your AI can list and filter issues, analyze error stacktraces, update issue status, view event details, browse organizations and projects, and debug production errors with full context.
